Pumpkin Patch Playground
In 1996, Signal Mountain resident and pediatrician, Dr. Jane Jones, and a collection of dedicated families realized the need for a shaded, natural and centrally located playground on top of Signal Mountain. The group rallied and inspired the entire community. Fundraising efforts raised nearly $200,000. Utilizing volunteer labor, the playground was completed in just five days! The mission to foster creativity and imagination through family centered outdoor, interactive play remains alive and well.
Now, more than twenty-five years later, The Pumpkin Patch attracts visitors from far and wide, and offers space for parties, family events and community celebrations.
The Pumpkin Patch Playground is located beside Walden Town Hall at 1836 Taft Highway, Walden, TN 37377, and is open daily from 9:00 AM until dusk.Looking to host an event?
