In partnership with the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy (NCCC), The Land Trust for Tennessee, Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), Southern Climbers Coalition (SCC) and the Hamilton County Parks and Recreation department, Walden's Ridge Park will allow public access for mountain bikers, climbers and hikers.
Volunteer opportunities, donations and community support are essential for Walden's Ridge Park.

The Puppy Patch is open during daylight hours seven days a week and features separate play areas for large and small dogs, water and waste stations, and agility equipment.

Historic McCoy Farm & Gardens covers thirty-eight acres and features the Bachman-McCoy home, pavilion, barn, blacksmith shop, and several other out-buildings. Certified by the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council as an arboretum, MFG is also home to many gardens including the Horseshoe Garden, the Serpentine Wall Garden, and the new Children’s Sensory Garden. The 1.1 mile long trail is open to pedestrians during daylight hours.
